Please see the letter (click here) sent out in the fall by Dr. Cogdill explaining our lunch program guidelines. Our new Life360 after school snack program is provided through a separate grant funded operation and we are very excited to be able to provide it!

Dear Parents,

Life 360 Community Services and the Scott County R IV School District have entered into a partnership that will provide a free daily “super snack” for all students, pre-k through senior, at the end of the day.  This snack will meet the dietary guidelines set by the USDA.

We are hopeful that this program will begin during the week of January 6th.    At the end of the day, students will receive their snack as they exit their classrooms.   We are asking parents to help us to remind students that the snack is to be eaten at home and not on the buses.  In addition, we are anticipating a huge need for used plastic sacks. If you have any available, please send them into your child’s office.   This will certainly help us out.

We realize this is a huge endeavor and we will have to resolve problems as they arise.    If you have any questions, please contact any of the four administrators.

With winter fast approaching, please see the following update to our inclement weather plan. Fog delays and snow delays/ closings will be announced via the district app, parent call list from the school, KFVS12 news, and the district Facebook page. Please be aware that the call list does have a delay due to the large number of recipient’s. The fastest way to know about inclement weather changes is through the district app notification.
