We can’t let today go by without honoring our administrative team for all they are and all that they do. Diligently, each of them gives countless hours to ensure the best possible outcome for each and every student and faculty member here at Kelly. Although this year has been challenging, to say the least, they have each held their heads up and moved forward no matter what obstacles came their way. They guide us through uncharted waters. “Thank You” just doesn’t seem like it’s enough, so they received a bucketful of sunshine today! Happy Boss’s Day 2020!!
On 10/13/2020 the Scott County Board of Education voted to approve a proposal to make Wednesday’s virtual days for all students beginning November 4. This will include all Wednesdays except December 16, January 6, March 31 and April 7. All teachers will be on campus on Wednesdays from 7:45-3:20. Teachers will be available to:
Respond to any parent/student communication
Plan and make videos for Hawks at Home students and update the Google Classroom.
Improve lessons for in-person students.
Update grades and provide specific feedback for all students.
Carry out scheduled appointments to provide specific instruction to students.
Conduct home visits as necessary.
We know that this may cause an inconvenience for families, but we hope that this additional time will help us to strengthen our partnership to improve academic performance. We appreciate your support during these uncertain times. You can help your student the most by setting a structured schedule for them to complete their work. Please continue to remind your students to check the Google classroom and their Gmail. In addition, we recommend scheduling all doctor appointments on Wednesdays. This will cut down on the time that an in-person student misses seat time. If you have any questions, please contact any school office.
