Good afternoon Hawk Nation! Due to the lack of melting on many county roads throughout the district, Scott County R-IV will NOT be in session tomorrow, February 2nd. We are hopeful the air temperature will be above freezing tomorrow and allow enough melting to return on Tuesday. If you live in an area that is still snow/ice covered and ride a bus, it is possible that an alternative pick-up/drop-off location will need to be established until the roads are in better condition. Someone from school will reach out to you about it tomorrow.

Good afternoon. After touring the district, it is highly unlikely several side roads and neighborhoods will be safe for our buses to travel on the rest of the week. Due to circumstances outside of our control, we are postponing our "Dancing Through the Decades" dance tomorrow evening 12/5.
We are planning to reschedule for a later date. At this time, we are asking those students who have purchased tickets to retain their tickets until the rescheduled date has been released. Refunds will be given at that time if necessary. We will also have another ticket sales period prior to the rescheduled dance. Please stay tuned for more information.

The district is taking part in the Missouri School Climate and Culture Survey. Results from this survey will be used as part of the school improvement review during the 2025-2026 academic year. As part of this process, parents, students, and school employees are asked to complete surveys regarding the programs and services available to students voluntarily.
Please take a few minutes to answer the survey at the link provided. Responses from all parents will be anonymously summarized and will become part of a report for the school district. The school district will use this report in the development of school improvement efforts.
If you have more than one child in school, please complete a survey for each child. The surveys will be processed so that school officials receive reports about each building in the district.
The questionnaires contain demographic and opinion questions. You have the option not to respond to any item or not to complete a survey at all.
