Unfortunately, we are asking for extra positive thoughts and prayers for one of our own. Mrs. Mackenzie Thompson's family experienced a devastating total loss last night due to a house fire from the storms. The district will be collecting donations to help them recover. On March 11th, the Scott County R-IV School District Board of Education joined 240 school districts, representing over 434,000 students across Missouri, to officially oppose any legislation regarding open enrollment by passing this resolution. Currently, House Bill 711 (HB 711) is the most recent version of legislation focused on making Missouri an open enrollment state. Good afternoon, Hawk Nation! This afternoon, the district experienced a bus accident. Fortunately, there were no injuries, and students arrived home safely.
Hawk Nation! We are trying something new this year! On May 1st we will open the online enrollment portal for new incoming students in high school. We tested the online enrollment process last year and learned a few lessons. This year we will open the portal early for any new student attending Thomas W. Kelly in the fall. This enrollment period is only for students who are not currently enrolled in the district. If you have any questions, please contact the high school office. #HawkNation
