After Christmas break #2, this graphic seemed appropriate. Some people even think we need to do another "meet the teacher night/open house". We are happy to report that the roads have cleared enough to resume school tomorrow. See you in the morning! #HawkNation

Good morning Hawk Nation! We were made aware of a Snapchat image circulating that includes a list of local schools. Throughout the night the district was in contact with local law enforcement to investigate the post and create a plan to have extra police presence on campus.
Once again, thank you to the parents, community members, and students who immediately reached out to school personnel, Courage2Report, and law enforcement about the social media post. Reporting versus reposting any type of threatening message is the best course of action. The district and law enforcement take all threats seriously and collaboratively will work together to investigate all reports.
We join all of the other local schools in the area that have experienced this type of behavior over the past week in stating that these types of posts are unacceptable and the individual or individuals responsible will face serious consequences.
Finally, the school day, week, year, will continue as planned. If the district ever believes that a substantiated threat has been issued, alternative plans will be communicated. For today, school will be in session as normal. If you have any information, we encourage you to report it to school personnel, Courage2Report, and local law enforcement. Have a great day! #HawkNation
